Roy Hill RBL Award

Roy Hill (Hill 75) was invited to the National Conference of The Royal British Legion in May held this year in Belfast. He was told it was to receive an Award so the family flew from Stansted and Liverpool to support him. The RBL National President, Air Marshal David Walker CB CBE AFC MA RAF (Retd) presented Roy with the Highest Award of the Royal British Legion along with a gold Merit badge. What a day for him – and the family were so proud. He has worked unstintedIMG_1040 for the RBL for over 55yrs and this presentation was the biggest ‘thank you’ he ever expected.”
